Starting My Ironman Journey: From Passion to Purpose

I’ve always been passionate about fitness, but for years I struggled with an “all or nothing” mentality. I’d dive into intense training, push myself too hard, and burn out, feeling like I was never making enough progress. But something shifted. Instead of trying to do everything at once, I decided to take it slow and steady. This Ironman journey isn’t just about crossing the finish line, it’s about building the endurance both physical and mental, that will help me become the best version of myself.

Now, I’m taking on the challenge of 140.6 miles, and I know it’s a lot. But I also know that growth comes from adapting, adjusting, and pushing through obstacles. Currently, I’m battling a few injuries, but I’m determined to push past them and keep moving forward. It’s all about mental strength, resilience, and taking one step at a time.

This blog is a way for me to share my journey with you through the highs, the lows, and everything in between. I’m not tech savvy, so building a website and blogging is a whole new adventure. But if there’s one thing I’ve learned along this fitness journey, it’s that I can do anything I put my mind to.

So here it is, my slow and steady path to Ironman. I’m ready to tackle the miles ahead, grow from every challenge, and prove to myself that I can achieve something big. I hope my journey inspires you to chase your own dreams, no matter how crazy they might seem.

Let’s do this—140.6 miles and beyond.
